I was floored this week when they started talking about video games. But, like the hosts, I also never hear about really productive people who always sound like they have their life together playing lots of video games. It is something I will try to do more often. Of course, it helps that I am also currently addicted to Tiny Death Star.

Music for the masses

Music is a staple of human civilization. Musicians are staples of music. Being exploited and undervalued is a staple of being a musician, especially if you listen to them long enough that they start talking instead of music-ing. Even in the early twentieth century when prerecorded music became a staple of movies, musicians were not happy with their lot. It is not a new concept, and the latest iteration of this argument has musicians battling music streaming services over royalties.
